Without your help in the fight of combating waste we will never be able to reverse the effects of Global Warming. So you may ask what is it that I can do?

Here are some helpful tips for your office:

Look for items made from reclaimed materials or made from sustainable sources.
Hold onto your staples, rather use paperclips (if each person in the world used 1 less staple a day then we would save 120 tonnes of steel).
Make sure you buy a flatscreen monitor (TV or Computer) as they use less than half the energy as the old conventional screens.
Computers use more energy in standby mode, so power off each day, you could save enough energy to print 1000 A4 sheets of paper.
Store as much as you can in electronic format, prevent where ever possible the printing onto paper.
Use environmentally friendly supplies such as recycled or bamboo stationery or recycled paper.
Use solar or water powered calculators to minimize the number of batteries in landfill sites.
Switch your lights to energy saving fluorescent bulbs as they use 66% less power.
Reduce the number of miles you drive by walking, you will save fossil fuels whilst exercising.
